I've used TurboTax for many years. Over that period, my tax situation has changed often and significantly, yet I've never had a problem using TurboTax. I am a bit dismayed, however, at the increase in the fee for State e-filing; it seems to be excessive and going up too fast. If not for that, my rating would be five stars.
What's great about it: ease of use; apparent thoroughness; rapid update downloads
What's not so great: nothing really with the program or its use

Lots of information, harder to find exact answers.

I like to answer all of the questions given and read info for more information. When trying to find answers to my own questions, this is hard to do. For areas that are new, it is hard to tell if I fall into the right category, even though you can look online. Have used the product for years, but wish the cost for state e-file was less expensive.
What's great about it: Easy to follow, good for all files.
What's not so great: Hard to find specific answers to own questions.

I am sure this will be easy next year, now that I know what to expect. I am not a fan of 'oh yes, only one more thing,' when you were under the impression you already did the 'last thing.' You might want to change that verbage.
What's great about it: It did all the calculations for me
What's not so great: Some of the questions on type of retirement was challenging if it was the first time you encountered this.
