A Big Thank You!

I like most people dread filing their income taxes, but TurboTax actually makes it enjoyable. The step by step process is the best feature, it keeps me on track as I tackle the task.
I appreciate the explanation windows through each step that educates and guides me through the process. I appreciate the convenience of electronic filing and options for direct deposit for refunds.
I love the fact that it stores information from previous years which saves time, I don't have to re-enter profile info and prior tax year information that is needed for the current year.
This is a program that even the tax illiterate person can use successfully. It is a user friendly program that I recommend for anyone when filing their personal taxes.
What's great about it: Filing taxes has never been so easy
What's not so great: Maybe a suggestion, for new comers a tutorial video would be helpful.

I've used Turbo Tax for about 10 years and have been generally satisfied. Only once have I been contacted by IRS about a problem with Turbo Tax. Preparation and archiving of forms works well. The "walk through" options appear thorough. I have discovered several deductions I otherwise would have otherwise probably missed. The audit risk review is reassuring and I trust it is generally accurate. Depending on whether you have a payment or refund for Federal and/or State, the filing process is sometimes sometimes glitchy. The payment to Turbo tax for direct deposits of refunds is too high, but in general the total cost is worth time savings and savings from the cost of having a professional file my taxes.
What's great about it: Ese of entering data, thoroughness of walk-through process
What's not so great: e-filing has some glitches, fees for auto deposit of refund too high

I thought I was done and after a month I found out I still had more. although it all printed with bank information. But it was e-file signature??? I have had many problems
What's great about it: did it for me
What's not so great: wouldnt download all the updates required several times
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Easy to Use

Highly recommend TurboTax. Since I started using it, I never worry about being audited. This is the simplest, fastest, and fun (if that's possible) way to do your income taxes!
What's great about it: Turbotax walks you through every possible deduction for the biggest return. Let's you know which IRS form you require.
What's not so great: Love everything about this software.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
