Simplest to date

I've used TurboTax for several years and this was the simplest format yet. Very easy to use and cover all required topics.
What's great about it: This was simplest tax return ever.
What's not so great: So simple I thought I might have missed something.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Easy Peasy

This version of TurboTax was again an improvement on previous years. I found it easy to use and I much appreciated the detailed reminders about all the income, expenses, and other entries needed for an accurate return.
However, I would have appreciated a bit of a guide about how to navigate this year's version...something that pops up as an option when first beginning to use it. How to access more details, etc.
What's great about it: Steps me through all my questions
What's not so great: Didn't understand how to access previously entered details, for a while

I have been using Turbo Tax for 15 years. It is designed so that anyone, with the least amount of financial experience can use it. Simple to follow. Step by step. And it corrects anything you leave out. A great product!!
What's great about it: Questions and Instructions are easy to follow

Excellant walk through.

The package remains excellent for completing returns. This is my 5th of 6th year of using it and it gets better each year. Simple returns are 15 minutes and ever the longer returns are less than an hour to complete.
What's great about it: The click on for additional information were very handy.
What's not so great: Need to be able to click out of a section and into areas without going through the qustions you have alrready answered.

Excellent Support

TurboTax questions led me easily through the process step by step. When I had a problem with ambiguity in a question and advice about optional retirement plans and IRAs in New York State, the online help and telephone support by Bill and Lyn were quite helpful, patient, and conscientious. Their responses were clear and excellent. They helped me track down and correct a problem to file my taxes properly and get the correct tax refund. Thanks.
What's great about it: Completing the tax forms by answering the questions was relatively easy. The phone and on-line support was excellent.
What's not so great: Advice about an ambiguous question on IRAs covered only one of the options.

Headache trying to enter all figures required

In previous years this was no problem but something has changed. The only way to enter this deduction is by over riding the form - then on review this over ride forces a filing by mail and efile is unavailable. It was a continuous loop until I gave up.
What's not so great: missing entry for self employed health insurance -

I have been using TurboTax for the last several years...it is easy to use and even pulls in the prior year's information so you can compare.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax walks you through every step...making tax filing as easy as 1,2, 3.
What's not so great: You are paying taxes...
