Continued Excellence

I began doing my own taxes with "Parsons." Turbo Tax bought out the specialty software that helped pastors do their own taxes. I was leery at the time. After using Turbo Tax for the past decade plus ... I can say that I simply find it easy and complete. I have compared it to returns from a tax firm - it did a better job. I am a confirmed customer and recommend it to all that ask.
What's great about it: Ease of use; does a great job of adding in clergy issues

In the correction of errors questions are asked and there is no way to get more information. That was confusing and I hope I answered them correctly

All smooth - this is so easy even for people scared of tax filing. Takes a lot of the pain out of it!
What's great about it: the steps were more streamlined and quick
What's not so great: I was steered through several pages of Californis penalty tax of zero - I had a refund.

I really enjoy using Turbo Tax. I have used several other programs and some online hacks but this one is simply the best.
What's great about it: This is an easy program to use. Quick, concise
What's not so great: Some problems trying to just get to State format to prepare state returns

Been using TurboTax for over 10 years. Ease of handling many types of returns and always help online to answer any questions which normally have already been asked and answers are available. Keep improving the programs. Thanks

Differences in the Fed and Minnesota versions of the 1040 are poorly handled. Instructions on how to adjust the fed form for Minnesota are poorly done and confusing. You generate the M1NC (or whatever it is) with the amounts that need adjusting. Why not just adjust the numbers and be done? Just compute the state version of 1040 correctly in the program. Intuit has successfully generated correct forms automatically for years. Why not this year?
