Been using TT for several years and find it perfect for a non-complicated tax situation like mine.
What's great about it: Easy to follow instructions
What's not so great: 1099-MISC a little hard to distinguish passive involvement in royalty income

Good for all

Been using TurboTax since the early 1990's. never had a problem. input is easy and review can be done by going to forms.
What's great about it: straight forward - good instructions - easy to save
What's not so great: in do it yourself mode moving around is a little slow - no section review

My taxes are pretty easy so I can skim a lot of the question groups. I like that it finds last year's record and shows what forms I used last year, so I can make sure I have all the documents (1099-int, etc) I need ready, which may require looking through on-line accounts for paperless versions if a bank or two aren't mailing them to me.
Was not pleased that it happily accepted my PIN from last year at the Federal e-file signature page. That could have been a big booby trap if I didn't take pause to investigate through a following sum up page, where a new PIN needed to be acquired and then entered in two sections. A bigger heads up might be a good idea there.
What's great about it: Can easily see comparisons to last year, can make sure I didn't skip something.
What's not so great: No PIN warning before signing Fed Return for E-File

Rapid Refund!

I will always use Turbo Tax. I am never disappointed with the program. You can do everything yourself, or have it set to walk through every step. I love how it reviews all data, new and old, to ensure everything is entered properly and to find the best refund for me. I have had to call an actual representative in the past and they have always been great help. Taxes don't have to be an annoyance with Turbo Tax. Keep up the good work!
What's great about it: Quick, Easy, Instructions, Simple
What's not so great: Problems arose from imported data??

I used HR Block last year and while I was satisfied with that product TurboTax was a little easier to use and I paid the same price for the software this year.

Software problems

This program wanted to charge me $$$ a processing fee for a refund on the fed tax return when there was no refund $$00? it was caught in a loop. Very upsetting to me. I am now sending my tax return by US mail. I may NOT USE Turbo Tax next year for my tax returns.
What's great about it: Good, but, needs improvement toward the end of the program.
What's not so great: Problem sending e-file, charges screwed up.
