Careful When You Move

Could prompt Personal info as you start, to see if filing status has changed since previous year due to a move or as in our case, a child lives out of state and needs to claim residence there.
Add a 2nd state for the same cost as buying Deluxe new again. Doesn't make a lot of sense...

What's great about it: Uploads previous years.
What's not so great: Never seems to be able to access W-2's. Up to you to be sure you go back and alter Personal if change in residency.

Easy, reduces stress

If you put an item in the wrong category you can go back and delete it from there and put it where it belongs also you can change things as you figure out as you go. Some tax programs once you enter an item, number, income or whatever and then you figure out that you put it in the wrong place, or you should not include that item at all you can not delete or go back, and you are stuck processing with erroneous information. With Turbo Tax that need NOT happen.

Help with software

Everyone has been so kind and patient :)
Computers are not my forte, nor are many of the terms listed in the interview questions. Received the clarification I needed for all my questions, and if representative was not sure, always checked with a supervisor or transferred to better informed department.

Have used the program every year and enjoy it. This year was smooth and easy as expected. I always subscribe to Audit Defense as insurance.
That screen has always been after filing. This year it was advanced to prior to filing and immediately locked up. Apparently a known problem as after several attempts it gave a number to call. This number turned out to be the wrong department at Audit Defense. The contact said they had received numerous calls for the same problem. Please correct this annoying issue for 2016. I will be back. Thanks for listening and a great product.

Taxes done in a breeze!!!

I've been filing my taxes with Turbo Tax for the past 10+ years and am very happy with the results of my returns. This a user friendly product and east to follow. I highly recommend this product to everyone!
What's great about it: efficiently covered all pertinent sections of the tax form
What's not so great: none

This was my first time using TurboTax and I was pleasantly surprised with the ease and thoroughness of the program. Customer Service was extremely helpful as well as pleasant!!
What's great about it: Walks you through everything you need to know to file properly, easy to understand

I actually enjoy doing taxes and TT makes it very easy especially when I can pick and choose the forms I am ready to complete. Then when I am ready to go thru the tutorial its all pretty straight forward. With kids in college now - I am especially keen on the education tax credits.
What's great about it: been a long time user of TT thanks for a solid product
What's not so great: Sill a deluxe user hope it stays that way
