Very functional

After last year (2014)'s debacle of re-structuring different editions, this year went smoothly for me. I always used Deluxe version because it covered my mutual fund investment / capital gains info. This year I thought I needed to go to Premium edition, but luckily for me I read a review that said "Deluxe" still covers the basic investment info. Deluxe version apparently worked fine for me, even down to direct download of investment info which I don't think I've been able to do before.
What's great about it: user-friendly
What's not so great: Don't like having to scroll down to end of whole list for "Next"

TT 2015 Vs. Windows 10

In Windows 10, every time I clicked "continue" or "Learn More" the main Windows screen menu with all the apps would come on the screen. I had go down to the TT icon to find the next page and click on it to bring it on screen. There was no on-screen transition from page to page. The Learn More link disappeared if the arrow was moved to scroll down, so I could not read all of the information. Very frustrating.
What's great about it: Quick calculations
What's not so great: Learn More Links would not open on same pages. Had to click in TT icon but could not scroll for full info.

Taxes r Us

I have been using TurboTax for a number of years now and it just seems to get easier all the time. Never had a return turned down or audited. Will continue to use if everything stays the same.
What's great about it: Simple to use and to efile or mail. Been using for years
What's not so great: I've not found any Cons
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

The easy way

I have used for years. Only challenge I have is estimated payments for future years. TurboTax no longer gives you the option of looking at increased or decreased revenue expectations for following year.
What's great about it: Just follow the guided tour and you can't miss anything. It is even easier in year two and after with data transfer.

Not much help when filling out schedules!

I've used T-Tax for years now but when filling out schedule C there was no help explaining what the question meant, no right click on the question. Nothing in the help/search of T-Tax. I had to go google the question.
What's great about it: Straight forward steps
What's not so great: Very frustrating when filling out supporting schedules..no help at all.

some forms have no info on it and we can not answer all questions - it is why your program shows mistakes
