CHC 2015 Tax Returns

I like the easy to follow instructions as well as being able to pick up info from last year's returnas well as being able to import my brokerage accounts.

Software Problems

Everytime I completed a segment or auto saved, Turbo Tax software would minimize itself. I would have to click on the icon to reopen. I felt this was cumbersome and unnecessary.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax fills out all the boxes for me!

Piece of Cake

Being retired, our income is limited and our taxes are quite simple. I like how every part of the return is broken down and explained. I feel confident that every deduction is considered. When we had an accountant do our taxes, it was expensive and the results were the same as using TurboTax. After comparing the results, we lost the accountant and never looked back. Thank you TurboTax for saving us money and making it so simple to file our taxes.
What's great about it: Walks you through every step with explanations
What's not so great: None for me

Always Confused

Review process was inaccurate with difficulty in processing corrections. Some quesitons are double backs and cause a lot of wasted time.
What's great about it: transfers info from Federal Return
What's not so great: Confusing questions
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Printout

Wasted a lot of time trying to print the return with no luck. Think it has to be filed before it can be printed (not sure of this, time will tell). Had no problem with the rest of TurboTax.

Even better this year

Makes it quite easy to file every year. Would prefer a package that includes both federal and state e-file as a package deal so I don't have to purchase the state e-file at the end of the process.
What's great about it: Very flexiblr & straightforward - easy to navigate
