system should have noticed that I had dependents and auto filled head of house hold, did not ask me that, and until printed forms out, did not see that, now I have to revise forms and refile to get this discounted tax status

What's not so great: did not pull head of house hold when have dependents, labeled as single - which is wrong

Super Easy to follow, harder to get set up!

I have used turbo tax for over a decade. It is always easy to file the return as far as entering data and answering step by step questions.
Each year I faithfully save my return, write down all pins, passwords, usernames ,codes etc.. The next year turbo tax fails to recognize me. Getting re-set up, takes longer than filing!!

What's not so great: year after year it doesn't recognize me as a user and doesn't import previous info

Great software

I'm retired but my wife is not 65 yet so she has Obamacare. This software really helps when filing end of year health insurance information.
We have been using Turbo for a great many years. The fact that it remembers the previous filings really make doing the current years a snap. All along the way you see last years filing information. This allows you to never forget that deduction or income.

TurboTax-2015 Fed and MA programs

Printing the MA tax forms for my records and filing by mail are totally disfunctional. The print out is overwritten with:
DO NOT FILE
DO NOT FILE
DO NOT FILE
What's great about it: Easy to use for features that work
What's not so great: The MA tax features are disfunctional

Medical expense prep

Suggest instructions provide some preliminary info as to categories to be entered. I found I kept having to go back and forth, changing one entry when I discovered part of that amount was included in a later entry.
