Ya gotta do 'em - TurboTax is the only way to go!

I've used TurboTax for years...longer then I can even recall. In fact, I had never used anything else until last year (2014). In the spirit of making sure I wasn't missing any possible deductions & to ensure I was getting the most from my return, I decided I wanted to use a professional service. Sadly, the only difference was the cost - 50% more than TurboTax - and the tax guy missed a pretty significant deduction. Because I had my 2013 tax return, I was able to compare the two, catch & fix the mistake. Thank goodness for TurboTax!
Huge TuboTax fan!!!
What's great about it: Simple & Fast with Imports for the main stuff!
What's not so great: It's taxes...LOL :D

Easy Tax Prep

I have been using TurboTax for many years now, it is simple and straight forward. The improvements that Intuit has made over the years has made it, in my opinion, the best tax software on the market. It is affordable and easy to use. Try it, I bet you'll like it.

Easy Tax Return

It took one evening to go through the tax return. I was asked questions that help me get more of the returns.
What's great about it: Had all of last years information
What's not so great: Had to pay for state return to be efiled.

Great Program - Explanations Need Improvemet

I have used Turbo Tax for more than 15 years. I appreciate the annual improvement. Overall, I prefer Turbo Tax to the other computer tax programs. The instructions are clear and concise and data entry couldn't be easier. I especially enjoy the ability to target one sub set of a section to better focus your efforts either during the initial preparation period or for followup data entry. My one complaint concerns the programs ability to explain why certain claimed deductions don't increase your tax return. For example, the program was already showing a return amount when I entered a substantial amount of mortgage interest and yet my return did not increase. No explanation was offered as to why such an action most would assume should increase their return had no effect. Then, when I entered my property tax, which was quite smaller than my mortgage interest, my return amount went up. I would like to see some specifically targeted explanation windows pop up to address unexpected results. Other than that, Turbo Tax is an incredibly good overall value and the program I will continue to use in the future.
What's great about it: Fast, easy, accurate and reliable - oh, and affordable!
What's not so great: Doesn't explain well why some deductions don't increase your return.

Great way to file taxes

I have been filing with Turbo Tax for quite a few years and it is so easy to do and you can feel confident that your taxes are right and easy to file.
