Quick simple easy

It was simple to do my taxes this year. Using the checklist at the beginning I had everything i needed when i sat down to do the taxes this year. the software was not hard to use. I never felt confused.
What's great about it: Easy to use software

What's great about it: I LIKED THAT IT WAS FAIRLY EASY TO DO THE TAX RETURN
What's not so great: MY LACK OF FAMILIARITY WITH TURBOTAX. i'M NOT SURE HOW TO SUBMIT EITHER TAX RETURN OR 1099's ELECTRONICALLY.

I had used Turbo tax for many years and this program made my life easier, As an accountant, it is good to relay in a program that covers all the updates and every year they cover every necessary aspect.
What's great about it: Easy and self explanatory
What's not so great: even it is easy, you need some kind of acknowledge about IRS rules
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Why spend the money?

Beginning for tax year 2014 the Tennessee Dept. Of Revenue began requiring all F & E forms to be e-filed. TurboTax software however is not an approved software. I made the mistake of purchasing the TN State program along with the Federal 1120 Corp. tax software, but was unable to e-file the State F & E forms. I thought TurboTax would correct the problem and become acceptable to TN this year but I contacted them and they advised me TurboTax is still not approved.
What's not so great: Tennessee Dept. of Finance will not accept TurboTax

problems with 1099's

Printing 1099 forms for multi companies--
1. does not let me do interest in this program have to fill out online form and cannot save turbo file for any changes
2. does not let me save each company 1099 file--can only save PDF not turbo tax--have to redo all 1099's if need to make changes--waste of my time.
