Another Year Done

I have used Turbo Tax for years since I have found it to be the most intuitive in understanding the actual information the IRS needs. In the Business application I feel confident that I have correctly provided all the necessary information in the right places because of all the TT checks. When I did forms manually, I was much more likely to make a mistake without realizing that I did not understand what was requested. Turbo Tax gives me the confidence that the forms have done correctly.
What's great about it: Importation of last year's information
What's not so great: Not sure if all IRS updates have been made

1) Allow printing of copy a of w-2 and w-3 onto preprinted forms approved for filing with ssa.
2) add electronic filing of w-2, w-3 capability

Efficient

I appreciate TurboTax for its efficient process that addresses each area of the return. I find that the program is useful to make sure all the details are covered.
Where I find TurboTax needs improvement is helping taxpayers analyze different scenarios to manage their tax liability.
What's great about it: streamlined process
What's not so great: lack scenario analysis

1st Corporate Tax Filing

I chose to file my single member LLC as a C-Corp and TurboTax made it easy for me. I've use it before and normally as a sole-proprietor, but this was my first time using form 1120 and it was easier than I hoped
What's great about it: Easy to use, Intuitive (no pun intended)
What's not so great: Not availavle for Mac!!!!!

I had a couple of minor issues, and the program would take me back to the issue, but didn't explain in enough detail how to fix the issue.
What's great about it: relatively easy for a novice.
What's not so great: Not enough instruction, when there was a problem.

Missing election

I own a two member llc that rents property. This was faster and easier and less expensive than a cpa, but needs an easier option for small taxpayer and de minimis elections. Will not use again unless these elections are easier to include.
What's great about it: easy to use, less expensive than CPA
What's not so great: Missing elections.
