From scratch this would work great

I would say it gets the job done. There were times that I had to navigate through the pages going backwards or fowards to input information. If you don't have everything entered into your books that it is asking for your books balance will be off from your tax balance. So I would suggest buying this early in the year and using it as a baseline to set up your books.
What's great about it: Easy to use when you know what you are doing with your books
What's not so great: Not a lot of wiggle room. Only a few items allowed on the balance sheet.

1099 Separate Copies Please

I have been using Turbo Tax several years. For the 1099 could you make pdfs separate copies for payee and for payor instead of grouping them together. I would like to save only the payee copies and only the payor copies in a file so I can email them without doing a lot of removing and re-saving.

What's not so great: Transfer should be name something else

I have used Turbo Tax for many many years because it is user friendly, very thorough and definitely easy to understand. I would recommend using Turbo Tax to individuals because it is quick and makes doing your taxes a breeze.

I believe that doing your own taxes educates you on upcoming tax planning and Turbo Tax is the way to go.
What's great about it: Makes taxes easy
What's not so great: Numbers requested from last year should provide a page and line of where to find this number
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
