Just keeps getting better.

Been using TT at least 10 years to prepare both my personal and business returns. I fight it like the Plague each year. Intuit has built very user-friendly programs and has worked diligently to make tax preparation as pain-free as possible which I appreciate very much. I hope the tax codes are simplified and this terrible burden that sucks the life out of a human body will some day meet it's end as it so richly deserves. In the meantime let there be TURBO TAX throughout the land!
What's great about it: Extremely user friendly and seems to get better every year
What's not so great: It's difficult to balance simple with complex.

would be nice to be able to just click on source and have it take you to specific line. The most useful thing to add would be a search by dollar amount and it would find that dollar amount on any form. This would aide in tracking how figures flow through the forms. CUrrently the only way to do this is to print out all forms to a pdf file and then search across the pdf file. Would be nice to not generate a bunch of temp. pdf files and be able to search for a dollar amount on any form (or even better in the step by step).
What's great about it: easy to use
What's not so great: hard to back track source

This customer did not provide a text review.
What's not so great: 1065 forms(amounts), K1, should flow to Fed 1040. All forms should be on one desk and capable of flowing.

I dislike the fact that the total amount of taxes due or refund is not listed at the top as it was in the past.
What's not so great: this was harder to use this year

Used TurboTax Again

Had troubles getting balance sheet data correct in TT. Thought would have imported fine from QB, but not so.
Then, when wanted to get back to a very specific step (in several different instances), had to go all the way through all the steps in a string to find it.
What's great about it: Saved me oodles of time
What's not so great: Lots of annoyances in QB import and accessing specific functions

Good but not completely confident

I found the instructions for filing our LLC's Federal tax return much more informative and helpful than the information and explanations (if any) provided during the state tax filing.
After this first -time filing my LLC tax return, I am happy to have used the service but from the experience I am not 100% confident I completed everything correctly due to some lack of explanation.
What's great about it: ease of use, federal business tax explanations
What's not so great: CA state tax information/ explanations
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Darn Good

Over 98% of the time, TurboTax anticipates my questions and tells me the answer OR tells me how and where I can find my answer.
Less than 2% of the time, TurboTax will be ambiguous, or will ask me a question I don't understand, and there's no map for figuring out what is meant.
I would never do my own taxes WITHOUT TurboTax. But some years I just hire a pro because TurboTax isn't asking me the right questions in the right way for me to be confident that we're handling my situation correctly.
What's great about it: highly detailed, mostly intuitive
What's not so great: sometimes leaves me hanging

This year I filed an extension and even though I have made myself many reminders to file by 9-15 I was little over run the month of September and completely forgot to file. now I am late and waiting to see what penalties I have incurred.
I did not receive one notice from Turbo Tax reminding me I had not filed/completed my return but I have received multiple notices to buy more or renew etc. etc.
To help Idiots like me that depend on you build some pertinent notices in to your program so that I hopefully don't make this mistake again
What's great about it: you send too many on sales offerings
What's not so great: You don't send any to remind us a return is due by.....
