Turbotax Business 2015

Other than not being available for MAC, Turbotax Business is the best tax preparation software I have ever used.
As a bonus, it gets better and easier every year.
What's great about it: Best tax preparation software yet
What's not so great: business version is not available for MAC

Not completely up to the task

Turbo Tax couldn't handle condo HOA fees - had to place manually
Schedule M2 - Turbo Tax couldn't properly handle beginning and ending Dividends Paid, had to manually add beginning year figure to line 3. Turbo Tax populated line 6 with year end Total Accumulated Dividends Paid which already included 2015 Dividends Paid which was also reported in Line 5a. Line 6 had no options to edit, only to override (which wouldn't have allowed for e-file) so had to zero out line 5a in order to balance.
What's not so great: Couldn't properly handle certain expenses & total dividends paid

No Worries

I have used turbo tax business for past 5 years. So far so good. I always feel more confident with the federal than the state. I really wish the business turbo tax would work on Apple.
What's great about it: easy to follow, find answers when needed, could not do taxes without this program, audit defense
What's not so great: Need compatibality with Apple please!!! The state forms are not as easy to navigate

Turbo Tax Saves Time

We have used Turbo Tax for 3 years to complete the tax returns for our 8 various entities. Each year has progressively improved.
We believe we have saved thousands in tax return preparation fees over the 3 years and the taxing authorities have been pleased with the results - No Audits.

Form 1065

The program needs to do a better job of permitting accurate completion of form 1065, Schedule B, line 16, number of form 8865s attached, line 17 number of form 8865s attached, line 19 answer to question, and line 20 number of foreign partners.

Minimize Frustration

The step by step process leaves a lot to be desired especially during the reconciliation process. The instructions are just not clear enough. It is easier to go directly to the forms and complete them using what is logical to your data.
Also have never gotten the sync with Quick Books to work. Always says something about not being able to access the file or something like that. But no big deal, as a small company, I would rather enter the data manually. I mean if it were as "foul proof" as downloading our bank and credit cards statements I would definitely use it.
What's great about it: Ability to review and work with forms directly.
What's not so great: The interviewing step by step process
