Turbo Tax review

With the use of an accompanying money management program, this can take just a couple of hours, be accurate, and submit all in one morning. Found it very easy to use.
What's great about it: Easy to use. Well organized. AND it WORKS!

I found this program a lot easier than H&R .
I spend less time than the other program and have less questions and spaces to fill.

Estate Taxes

Purpose was competing estate taxes for my deceased mother in law, so not something I do all the time. Something that should be pretty fundamental - linking to k-1's from the 1041 doesn't work - had to do a work around to make it finally work after a lot of offline research - a definite bug in the system. Almost made it not worth buying the program. I've used regular Turbo Tax programs for years, but getting concerned about the reduced "help" available. I also find the "terms & conditions" for me to submit a review, which you asked for, to be obnoxious!
What's great about it: walked through a lot
What's not so great: directions were not very clear - K1 creation process horrible

Challenging through very helpful

Overall it was very helpful though it took me a while to get to understand some parts of the entry versus my books.
What's great about it: Easy to get all data into the system using Quickbooks
What's not so great: Sometimes hard to get a particular entry for correction or updating. Also some options were a bit confusing.
