First Trust Tax Return With T*Tax

Regarding the Trust Tax Return I just submitted, I'm worried because there was a lot of additional questions about the Trust beneficiary which was not included in the return prepared by a CPA for the last few years. There was no tax due, which was good, but my sister (the beneficiary of a Special Needs Trust) is handicapped and relies on funding from the state and federal agencies. I'm worried that the information I was guided to provide might jeopardize her status in California. We'll see. I think I saved $150 or so from her trust by using T*Tax but hope I haven't upset the apple cart, so to speak.....
What's great about it: Didn't have to deal with a CPA or pay their price
What's not so great: Return looked a lot different than last year's and worried that I made mistakes.

I suggest bilingual specialist assistance (spanish & english), because many people in the U.S. are spanish - Latin entrepreneurs needing to fiil out Tax Forms.

A little confusing

I admit that this was my first and I hope last estate filing and was not sure if I was putting the information where it needed to be but the software says it's right sooooo.
What's great about it: Plugged in info where it needed to be
What's not so great: Not sure for a simple estate filing this was a lot of money
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

What's not so great: Box 11 was difficult to find for form 1041. Should have been like 2014 version.

Thank goodness for Rurbo Tax

Not being an accountant or retaining an accountant but still running a small "mom & pop" business the tax laws and what you can and cannot deduct plus what forms to submit can be overwhelming. This is the second year I have used Turbo Tax Business and this software is a savior. Thanks Intuit!

Would be a lot easier if 1099s could be downloaded for 1041s as for 1040s.

Less Taxing way to file returns

Overall a great program for business taxes that is easy to use and not intimidating. Great deal of explanation and available assistance. Time to complete is minimal in comparison to walk in tax services at MUCH less the cost or having to hire a CPA/Accountant if you have a small business budget.
Software is designed to provide BIG GUN power for in-depth business tax filing and is great for the "little guys" as well as the larger businesses. Many contractors with whom I consult use TURBO TAX.
If the program was available for the MAC/Apple devices would be a slam dunk no competition choice and would recommend to use without hesitation.
It is a curiosity why the #1 tax software company will not create a MAC version and attract more loyal users especially those with MACS in their business. In my case would have avoided me having to buy a WINDOWS based computer just to use the software and file taxes.
If you have access to Windows and want the best values in the business, choose TURBO TAX for Business!
What's great about it: Easy and straight forward fill in the blank catagory
What's not so great: Not available for MAC computer. Almost a NO SALE issue!

Ease for 2016

I LOVE that you are going to automatically send me this software download each year! I just told my secretary that Intiut should capitalize on sending automatic downloads so we don't have to figure it out each year and BAM you guys did that. So, thank you!
