Won't use TurboTax again unless

Maryland now requires that form 500CR be electronically submitted, a law that passed in 2012. However, TurboTax Business form 500CR doesn't work properly, and the Premier version doesn't support 500CR. I learned this AFTER completing both my business and federal taxes. So I have taken the decision to submit my taxes as is and then submit an amended return using another program (meaning completely redoing my taxes) in order to capture the 20K in business tax credits I have available this year.
What's great about it: It's getting easier each year
What's not so great: Doesn't support Maryland form 500CR
Pros: I bought or sold investments

What's not so great: Filling out local forms without help
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Good program, but Business version lacks features

The business version of Turbotax does not let you download brokerage information, as the personal tax editions too. This is a big deal if you are doing taxes for a Trust that has active management of funds. It would be great if they can fix this for next year.
What's great about it: Easy to switch between forms and Questions
What's not so great: No ability to download brokerage info for Trusts

Turbo Tax was (almost) completely hassle free

I file a Form 1065 every year. Not the easiest return to prepare.
The 2015 version of the software seemed more robust than last year. And I was even able to input a very unusual entry appearing on a 1099-DIV.
The glitches that did occur involved the state return (California). I get it that mapping data transfers from federal to state returns is very difficult. Turbo Tax got nearly all of it - but I still had to review the state return carefully, and make changes.
In my opinion Turbo Tax remains the best product around.
What's great about it: The software could handle all transactions - including an unusual noncash liquidation distribution entry
What's not so great: It remains difficult to ensure I've downloaded/printed all comments.

Great Product

I've used tax software for more than 20 years. TurboTax is easily the best that I've ever used. Great product, easy for professionals and non-accountants alike. Only criticism is that partner contributions and distributions are not included in the wizard but are buried in the forms and had to use another user's response to a prior question to find that. Since this feature will apply to most every partnership, it really needs to be added to the wizard.
What's great about it: Easy to use; Comprehensive; Good help function
What's not so great: Wizard does not include partner contributions and distributions
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Extremely relieved

I found myself the unlucky fiduciary of two trusts when a friend passed away. The taxes for a trust are a nightmare, but it was too late to back out once I'd started. If it hadn't been for Turbotax, I would probably be getting summons from the County for not filing, for incorrect filing...you name it. But TT really helped.
The only complaint I have is that the explanations are made for those who already understand trusts and their taxation. It's been a very difficult journey navigating all the explanations and having to go to IRS.gov to read more about every little line. TurboTax...the only ones who read the "Learn More" lines are those who really need the help - so please offer more basic how-to's in those inserts! Thank you!
What's great about it: Walked me though doing Trust taxes
What's not so great: Not all of the explanations for various items were helpful
