Great for simple trusts

Worked really well this year except for one detail when entering information from a schedule K-1. Under type of K1, I needed to select two types, but Turbo Tax only gave me the option to enter one, so it didn't quite align up with my paper copy in terms of being able to fill out all of the lines from the K-1.
What's great about it: Easily entered almost all information
What's not so great: wish this was bundled with personal, business, trusts so I didn't have to buy 2 turbo taxes each year

Another Successful Year!

In my opinion, TurboTax makes what could be a long hair-pulling session into a relatively stress-free experience. I love how the program keeps my key information from the prior year, transfers the information from my current year books into the right places so most of the hard work is already done. The first year I used TurboTax was the hardest because I had to learn how the program and my books worked together, but the instructions are clear and helpful. I recommend TurboTax to everyone!
What's great about it: Switching from entry screen to form view, flagging trouble spots

Significant Bugs

An early instruction page would have been very helpful. You need to explain HOW to navigate efficiently. Also, need to highlight the "Forms" icon and how to use that feature. I spent hours trying to correct the return with the step-by-step procedure and was about ready to quit when I discovered the "Forms" icon. Then out of frustration, I did a right click on a value that would not change and discovered the ability to override values to correct values to match my Balance Sheet. Sure would have been nice to know that up front!!!!!
What's great about it: Navigation was good, but only after I discovered the "Forms" icon
What's not so great: Rounding errors cause Balance Sheet to not Balance and overriding difficult

GOT IT DONE RIGHT

This is new for turbo tax but the form 2106 is asked for but the information ive entered for Employees Business Expenses in the begining does not show up on this form when its pulled or ask for by turbotax
What's great about it: VERY DETAILED
What's not so great: FORM 2106
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

So easy!

This is my fourth year using Turbo Tax for my business and every year it gets easier. Using Turbo Tax is a great way to keep all of your tax information together for reference (ie: the past year to current year), as you do have to carry over some of the information. And filling in the blanks is easy because the program walks you through everything. Their explanations for asking certain questions are easy to understand. Overall, this program saves me a lot of time, and with little effort.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax makes it simple to understand how to do my own taxes
What's not so great: Sometimes the online version tries to open the wrong return (personal vs business) even when using different log in info

Need a Mac version

We have been using Turbotax Business for ten years. How come it only works on windows when the personal is for both? Now that there is no support for XP i had to borrow a computer to do the taxes this year. It is time to get with the times and support Apple users!

This year I cannot write a good review. I have used Turbo Tax for several years and this year it was a bust. Every time I try the "Update Turbo Tax" The software throws an exception.

One major weakness

This really needs the ability to download the info from the brokerage accounts like the personal programs have. Also, if it continues to be absent, at least give us the opportunity to add multiple PDF's of the 8949 forms for each account reported
Note: Since I only have one nickname, the fact that someone else has used it shouldn't require me to make up something that's meaningless.
