Easy with QuickBooks!

I used TurboTax for the first time in many years this years because I had a bad experience then, but what a difference now!. It was especially easy using it with detailed QuickBooks file, which I always have. Category for Reimbursed expenses to employees is unclear - I used "other expenses" and put it there, so it would be helpful for that to be clarified
What's great about it: Very clear and simple to understand
What's not so great: Didnt make it clear if state returns were e-filed at the same time as federal

better data import features.

One of the features I like and use in Turbo Tax for Individuals is the downloading feature from brokerage firms for capital gains, dividends and interest. Schedule 1099-B.
I would really like to have that feature in Turbo Tax Partnership Returns. I would even pay for that feature in a more advanced version.

Really easy to use

I am a European accountant, and the info that Turbo Tax gave was invaluable in helping me figure out how to file US tax returns.
The error check was particularly helpful.

Arizona allocations among partners don't work and utilize the partner ownership and profit/loss allocations within the return and merely allocates the total to the last partner listed, requiring an override.

wish i could figure out which product to buy I had to buy 3 different products to use the software. And on the Mac the windows don't scroll and if I have a docking on I can not navigate easily with okay or cancel buttons

Last minute job well done

Most nerve racking is the fixed assets area where it was hard to keep track between the book and tax depreciation, and to understand the calculation used to come up with tax values. an amount showed always up in depletion although that was not deemed appropriate. Just no idea to resolve the issue.
What's great about it: All questions and forms needed to fill are provided and well explained.
What's not so great: upload from Quickbooks caused issues similar to PY

Had two questions. Thought they had been answered. Now I am not so sure. Must take additional steps to research.
What's great about it: Easy to complete the forms. Easy to click for help.
What's not so great: Still not sure exactly what to do about my state return. Will require more inquiry and action.

Tax Filings Made Easy

I'm a long time user and fan of turbo tax. I like the fact that the program walks me through all of the different income and deductions I need and provides good examples and definitions for the various sections.
What's great about it: Easy and simple to use with the appropriate help information to get you through even complex returns!
What's not so great: I really don't have any negative comments about this product. I have used TT for many years.
