Been using turbo tax since 2007

Turbo Tax was better when I first started using it. The last couple of years it has gotten less user friendly. It no longer makes schedule C part of its step by step program, I have to change to forms to enter the info. The business / trust program no longer gives you a running figure of taxes owed like the Home& Business version that costs less. Please put schedule C back in step by step, and the running total.
What's great about it: good program and understandable
What's not so great: I have to buy 2 versions to get my 2 returns done

Disappointed with State C orporate Turbo Tax

I have been a Turbotax personal user for a decade and love turbotax personal. I thought I would try turbotax corporate and it was difficult and i did not feel well guided through it. The state portion of turbotax (florida) was little more than a normal revenue form, there was really very little help, or more info on many topics i did not know at all as a first time corporate tax return filer.
What's great about it: knowing what to file for short form
What's not so great: no real guidance

Gets easier every year; requires less time...

They've got the individual stuff done pat. However, the Turbo Tax for business is NOT so easily and accurately integrated with QuickBooks; getting better but much more efficient to just enter numbers manually.
What's great about it: Comprehensive and fairly automatic
What's not so great: Turbo Tax for Business Needs some validation before doing automatic

TurboTax software has been the best tax I have used in recent years. It is easy to follow, and it's good to know that they guarantee accurate results.
What's great about it: User friendly program and guaranteed accurate results.
What's not so great: glitch prefilling info

Love the program and the ability to do this on our own. But sometimes it's a bit tough - like the balance sheet and such - can be a bit tough.
What's great about it: great way to complete your own taxes
