No hassles or problems. I've used Turbotax for MANY years, and it just keeps getting better.
What's great about it: Made it easy as always.
What's not so great: Didn't find any again this year.

Extremely difficult to get back into return. Tax time line wouldn't load. Purchased a WI fiduciary form, wouldn't return to state to fill out. Have to ask for a refund as receipt states I purchased a download, but doesn't show on download/unlocks.

Very Frustrating

Spent way too many hours trying to figure out how to reconcile balance sheet with turbotax. Too many of your customers use Quickbooks not to make considerations in turbotax. Next year I'll use an accountant.
What's great about it: Quickbooks transferred easily
What's not so great: Quickbooks Balance Sheet & Returned Earnings Don't Match Turbotax

1031 Exchange issues - Form 8824

I spent over a week trying to get a 1031 exchange to work with partnership income software. While easy entry method is nice, it would not work for exchanging a single property for two new homes. It kept creating two separate entries for each exchange instead of adding the two properties. This caused the software to create capital gains that were not due. The only way to correct this issue is to enter both sets of numbers as a single exchange. While this method worked, it does not allow for correct documentation. I am really disappointed with the software. I have used Intuit turbotax for over 15 year, but this is the biggest issue I have found. Please contact me if you need further details on the issue.
What's great about it: Overall good product
What's not so great: Problems with entering multi property exchange - Form 8824

I had no problems downloading the software and using it on Windows 10.
What's great about it: Worked well, so long as I don't get any calls from the IRS!
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Pls include more help for special needs trusts.
What's great about it: Once I got in, it worked well
What's not so great: It was difficult starting a second trust return. It kept transfering me to last years data for another trust.
