I've used TurboTax for over 20 years, for my personal and business taxes. It is clear, easy to navigate, and very good about letting me know how I am effected by changes in the law, like the ACA. I will continue to rely on TurboTax in the years to come.

Almost excellent

An example. If you have a CA sub-S that receives a K-1 from another CA pass-thru (LLC, partnership, etc) it is likely that the amounts shown in line/box 1 on the K-1 are going to be different for federal and California reporting. Turbo Tax for individuals allows for making these adjustments. But unless I am missing something there is no way to make those adjustments in the Business program. Thus far the differences have not been significant, but if they are in the future, bye-bye Turbo
What's great about it: Easy to use and covers ALMOST all situations
What's not so great: Missing at least one common situation

First time doing my business taxes with TurboTax. In general a good product. Very thorough in asking for all possible deductions. Only negative is after review it provides no assistance whatsoever as to exactly how to correct them.
What's great about it: Very thorough
What's not so great: Very little assistance when correcting fields

I have been using Turbo Tax since 2011. It is easy to use and most things are self explanatory. The only problem is it is difficult to speak with a live person when needed. And the "community answer" forum ... well, I'm not a fan.
What's great about it: Can do from the comfort of my home
What's not so great: Difficult to ask questions
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Worked.. but not very clear

Had high hopes for TurboTax business.. but I will say it let me down. It didn't provide much assistance or help with the tax topics. Because it wasn't very helpful, I put some numbers in the wrong spots. After talking with an accountant.. I was able to get the numbers moved around. It has a bug where you can't e-file your state taxes in California if you are a LLC filing as a S-Corp. Annoying. Will probably will look at other options for next year.
What's great about it: Did the math for me
What's not so great: Lots of errors which it had trouble fixing. Hard to fill out forms

wished I didn't have to buy multiple editions

I had to buy turbotax home and office as well as turbotax business. One I could do online and the other one was only downloadable onto my desktop. additionally I realized that I have a 1099-s and it looks like they will only take those in turbotax premier. This seems to be cumbersome that they are not all integrated. I wouldn't mind paying extra for this service
What's great about it: easy to use
What's not so great: had to purchase multiple editions
Pros: I bought or sold investments
