Useful tool

I use TT so that I have some support in filing our LLC and personal tax returns, I would feel a bit lost on my own, but I feel our tax situation isn't that complicated so I should be able to do our taxes. I get frustrated with the TT glitches that put data into places that are, frankly, a mystery to me, but I have always been able to figure it out and I always do the updates when I open the program. The help function can be hit or miss, but always a good place to start your help search. I stll have to file some forms independent of TT so it would be good for all the forms to be available, but I don't know why they aren't so there may be a good reason for that. Overall, I return (my 3rd year) to use the product, so that speaks for itself. I like the confidence it gives me to complete our returns. I would say pretty good value for money.
What's great about it: Allows me to feel more confident in doing my own taxes for our LLC and our personal return.
What's not so great: Unsupported forms that we need and the glitches can be difficult to catch, and you end up going in circles.

QBO is not compatible!!!

QBO is not quite ready for primetime. Between the various things I cannot do with QBO that I could with my desktop QuickBooks, I was unable to transfer my data from QBO to Turbo Tax. Very disappointing.
What's great about it: Everything works well, just like every year -- I'm generally a big fan of Intuit
What's not so great: I am extremely disappointed that I upgraded to QBO and now my data doesn't transfer into Turbo Tax

I am a tried and true TurboTax user. There is no way I could file taxes for our business and all four family members without it! I don't know where I would be without you, TurboTax!

I have only used turbo tax the last 10+ years. not sure how it would compare to regular filing
What's great about it: detailed on questions
What's not so great: hard to file federal and state by different methods
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments
