Ease of Use

I have used TurboTax from my personal taxes for years. I was reluctant to use the TurboTax Business because of newness of tax laws relating to a LLC. TurboTax Business was just as easy to use and navigate as TurboTax for personal taxes. I'd highly recommend this tool for any new business owner.

A big help for my first year, but...

Overall, very good. I also used the phone customer support, which was excellent as well. I wish I knew which (if any) Turbo Tax I could use that would work in conjunction with this one and import its information so I could use the same format to do my personal taxes this way, too.
What's great about it: easy, friendly format, good explanations
What's not so great: Cannot find Turbo Tax product that imports info from this one so I can do my personal taxes on Turbo Tax as well.

Excellent Product

TurboTax is a great product to do both business and personal taxes. I use to do my own by hand prior to 2014. I've been using TurboTax in the last two years. I feel more confident. Never had a problem.
What's great about it: Quick and easy. Answers to common questions are detailed

Not so scary!

I've been terrified about my taxes ever since I switched from Sole Proprietor to an LLC. Seven months as one entity and five months as the LLC. What do I do? Accountants in my town gave me wrong information. Just as I was about to despair, I got a new customer who is a tax man and he gave me the basics on what to do and what software programs I needed from Turbo Tax. Other than the fact that I just don't understand all the legalities of an LLC, Turbo Tax really helped me do my taxes in record time. In fact, I'm filing early. Thank you.

TurboTax makes it easy to file!

A step by step procedure leads you through the completion of the business tax preparation. If you use Quickbooks, the program transfers your tax data from Quickbooks (depends on how accurately you have categorized your tax coding in Quickbooks). If you have used TurboTax the previous tax year, your data from that filing is available for comparison (and a reminder of what areas to complete). Personally, I find the manual data entry from the Profit/Loss Statement and the Balance Sheet to be simple and easy vs. a data transfer that depends on how accurately you categorized your entries in Quickbooks.
