So-so

Same-o, same-o - nothing changed for this year. Continues to be a ho-hum product that requires *extensive* research and experience to use. Not for the casual user. This is my 8th year of using the product (because nothing else better is available), and I'm finally able to get through it without tearing my hair out. If you've got the money, save yourself a major headache and use a CPA.
What's great about it: Cheaper than a CPA
What's not so great: Awkward and confusing

State price too high

I love your software but the price becomes prohibitive when I have to buy both personal and business federal software and then have to buy both a state partnership version and an s-Corp version in order to be able to efile my very simple returns. And if I don't pay your exhorbitant fee for a return that literally has about 5 lines on it, my state requires me to file for a waiver to file on paper and that takes 60 days for approval, which requires me to file for an extension. It is a real pain in the butt. And now I have two small businesses in another state, so I have to buy two more state versions to do those returns. Lower your price for states!
What's great about it: Great Software, have used it for many years
What's not so great: State too expensive for my little business

Inability to download financial institution information and inabilty to run on Apple remain TurboTax Business's major disappointments.

Simply the best

I've used Turbotax for over 10 years. Tried taking a break and using an online product for form 1065 for 2 years and that worked when I had basically no income. However, when I need to get the tax input correctly, only Turbo tax allows me to see the forms before I print them.
What's great about it: Straightforward. Answer the questions and your return comes out right.
What's not so great: There area couple of lines I can only access by manual override.

I have been using Turbo Tax for many years and find it very east to use. Just follow the steps and your taxes will be done.

I had another program last year and it was a nightmare. Now with Turbo Tax for Business i was breezing through it in a jiffy! Hooray!

Tax Prep and File Simplicity Defined

TurboTax continues to be the go to for small to mid size business owners. Up to date tax rules and forms coupled with easily followed on screen prompt and review process make TurboTax very efficient.
