Covers most everything!

Generally very happy. but it doesn't handle partner recourse debt quite right and it requires some manual adjustments to fix it - assuming you catch it before filing!
What's great about it: Gets most if not all the details
What's not so great: Partnership return doesn't handle recourse debt correctly

Good but not great

Mostly very good software. My biggest gripe is the pesky Registration Screen that can't be turned off. The Balance Sheet reconciliation section is always clumpy, seems like this is a core piece that must frustrate many people, and feels liek too little effort was put into this.
Given the premium price of this software, I'm also a little disappointed that it's just not as thorough as TurboTax products for individuals
What's great about it: Does a sold job
What's not so great: The Balance Sheet reconciliation section needs work

My main issue with TT Business/Trusts, is the inability to download any info from my Ed Jones accounts. It is not always simple to transfer the info from our consolidated statements.
We can do this on TT Premier, for my individual taxes, but not for my 2 Trusts.
What's great about it: Ability to transfer from prior year
What's not so great: Had much trouble signing in to download state

Updater won't work on Windows 10!
on March 17, 2016

TurboTax Business 2015 is not compatible with Windows 10. The updater didn't work, so I had to install the update manually. I wasted the purchase price for the Ohio state tax form because TurboTax froze instead of downloading the form.
What's great about it: Turbotax helps with forms
What's not so great: Updater won't work on Windows 10.

I find the "fixup" of Quickbooks accounts very helpful. After several years of use, the whole process takes less than an hour from start to finish. The ability to email K1 to the partners is another nice time saver.
What's great about it: Quickbooks integration, K1 email

This was my first year of using a tax software. For the past 30 years I've prepped all our taxes and sent them to the same accountant. He did a good job and in the beginning was needed. Now as e-file has become necessary, even mandated, our accountant still refused to e-file. It was time for a change.
I have to admit that I was pretty anxious to do this, but was happy that I could go back and make changes if I'd misunderstood something. I did have some trouble with the business deductions, since some of them were duplicated under different headings. I had to be very careful not to list them twice.
Last night I was finally finished with our Federal 1120S and sent it on it's way. Imagine my surprise to see that it had been accepted by the Federal IRS this morning! Thanks, TurboTax.
What's great about it: I really liked that I could go back make changes in a section.
What's not so great: I needed to file a NJ S-Corp which TT marked as new as of 3/14. But still no e-file.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
