Easy going

I have been using TTax for many years and love how easy and understandable it makes filing my business and personal taxes.
What's great about it: program walks you thru it all
What's not so great: State was a bit confusing

The corporate product seems like a bad afterthough

I just efiled my Federal Form! Now I can't find what I need to print to file my state of Indiana tax as I can't efile them, and your wizard has decided I am done!
What's great about it: Somethings are easy.
What's not so great: HInts for tax questions in corporate are just about useless.

Updater didn't work this year

Turbotax updater never worked. It cost me hours of waiting. I finally had to download the manual updater. This was very frustrating. Previous years have worked much better.

Federal was good, but had a hard time with state

I would also like to see a risk assessment like in the personal TurboTax. It would have eased some of my 'first time business filing' tension.

What's great about it: Federal had the hyper links and help section was good
What's not so great: State did not have many hyper links and help section seemed difficult (to me)
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

turbo tax business return

When the reconciliation of book and tax is done, it would be helpful if the amount on 1120, line 28 were given. Instead, I had to exit and go to the form 1120 and find out the amount and then compare to my reconciliation. Not much help in identifying the discrepancy.
What's great about it: easily walks through each step
What's not so great: very hard to reconcile book and tax

Once Again, Turbo Tax is Terrific

Been using Turbo Tax for 4 years now and I can't imagine using any other software. It's so easy to use--year after year. And, they are making it even easier for novices like me. The questions are very helpful and the reviews before you file really keep you assured of getting the most out of your return. I will be a customer again in 2016.
What's great about it: smooth guide through questions, easy to read, easy to get help
What's not so great: got stuck on unearned income
