I use a mac for my business. Not being able to use mac to file my taxes posses a huge problem! Also, on the Business software there is no proper place to claim a home office.
What's great about it: ease of use
What's not so great: no proper place for home office deduction and not MAC compatable

Excellent product. Have been using Turbo Tax for over 20 years and it just keeps getting better.
What's great about it: Like the format. Godd error recovery. Simple to follow. Lots of help
What's not so great: The running total that used to be at the top is gone. It was a helpful aid and should be restored.

If this service could be provided online so no attached to 1 computer, that would be so much better.

Good but awkward

A couple of things did not go well and I had to go back and redo. I was using Turbo Tax 2015 and the PA State Partnership to file for an LLC. I completed the PA review with no errors, but when I went to file I got a message that the return contained errors. I went back and did the review again and all of the issues/notices that I had answered the first time through came up again, I put the same answers back in, reran the review and had no errors. When I went back to file I got the message that there were errors. I filed anyway.
The PA state software had me reenter real estate holding that had already been entered into the federal software,
Under filing the federal form went through e-file, but the state form had to be mailed. When I finished filing the e-file the program told me I was done. I had to go back to the filing dialog and select that the federal was already filed and that I wanted to print the state file.
What's great about it: Was able to complete without too much trouble
What's not so great: certain things did not go smoothly
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Still a crapshoot

Most of the fields filled by 2015 Business did not match actual account balances. I pretty much had to go in each field and adjust the outcome. Really the best thing about using the Intuit products is you end up turning in the required schedules, I hope.
What's great about it: Some small level of confidence in doing my own return
What's not so great: Very little information was populated by 2015 Business from my day to day QuickBooks Pro 2016.

Not worth the TIME & Expense

You are better to have you CPA do your S-Corp. return - this took a few weeks to complete with all the reading needed to understand if you are entering the correct items. Still not comfortable that it has been completed correctly.

GETS EASIER TO USE EVERY YEAR BUT I STILL GET STUCK AT THE BALANCE SHEET. I FIGURED OUT THIS YEAR THAT RETAINED EARNINGS IS AN ACCUMULATION OF ALL YEARS NOT JUST THIS YEAR. MAYBE IF YOU INCLUDED THAT IN THE EXPLAIN THIS ON HOW TO FIGURE RETAINED EARNINGS THAT WOULD BE MORE HELPFUL. HOPEFULLY I WILL REMEMBER NEXT YEAR.

I enjoyed using this product. I am currently deployed overseas and Turbo Tax has made my filing seamless.
