I'm sure there is a way to do it automatically but I was not asked. A simple check box to import would be handy.
What's not so great: Had to hand input data already input on federal balance sheet

Good but with some bugs

This is my second year of using Turbo Tax Business for my S-Corp. It is certainly cheaper than paying someone to do my taxes, and helps me understand what is involved with my S-Corp taxes..
There were 2 bugs this year - and quite late in the tax season (corporate taxes are due March 15).
1. An odd CA state form came up that I had no need for and it had no relevance to my filing. I looked on Intuit help and saw that others had the same problem too. I went in and deleted the form.
2. On the review I had to override my corporation name. This seemed strange since I filed with the same name last year. Seemed like a bug.
Overall, it is a decent, not great, product. Perhaps I'm also biased by my negative experience with Quicken Home & Business (not tax) 2015. It doesn't work right on my Windows 10 Lenovo X1 Carbon. It cannot deal well with the high resolution settings. When I first raised the issue in early 2015 they sent me to a patch someone had written and published on GitHub (!). I expect more from a company that I've trusted for over 20 years to help me manage my personal finances.
From what I've read, the issue still exists in Quicken Home & Business 2016, which is why I'm not updating my version.
Too bad there is not a viable alternative to Quicken for personal finance. I've used H&R Block software for personal taxes, not business (S-Corp).
What's great about it: Fairly straightforward to use
What's not so great: 2015 Business (S Corp) is buggy in March 2016

Badly flawed - good thing my return is simple

I'm a long time TT for Business user but this year was a real let down. Every time I tried to import my last year's tax file my computer crashed (Win10). After manually entering my data I found it was only partially transferred to my state (MA) return. After fixing those gaps, I discoverd that the link to the MA DOR payment page was out-of-date. Massfile for business is now MassTaxConnect. This was announced and implemented months ago.
Luckily I have a very simple business tax return so my manual adjustments and overrides worked, but watch out!
What's great about it: not much
What's not so great: didn't import from Quickbooks, didn't transfer to State, broken link for State payment

Amended return
on March 13, 2016

when putting in 1099 info Turbo asked basic questions and did not state last year you had a 1099 on _____ & on ____ etc... This would of been helpful and I wouldn't have had to file an amended return
What's great about it: ease of use
What's not so great: previous tax years entrys did not appear
