I have to every year maintain a copy of windows despite my company being all Mac just so I can file taxes. I have left this feedback for 7 straight years. PLEASE make a Mac version!!

I have used Turbo Tax Business for many years. It worked fine for my small, simple LLC.
What's great about it: Easy use, plain language
What's not so great: Charges too much for State package.

It's hard to critique a software that enabled me to successfully work up my own tax return and E-file with the IRS. Without this software, there is no way I would have been able to accomplish this. With that being said, my wife and I have separate businesses and also rental property which sometimes caused difficulty in being able to easily move and make changes from one business to another and being sure I was on the correct business. It would help if their was a permanent Header Display properly naming which business and/or taxpayer on each work page to ensure you're aware of what business you're entering information on. The SEP payments and heath care insurance payments could also be made plainer. I was extremely pleased with the software and these comments are from someone that is certainly a novice in tax software design.
What's great about it: Software was fairly easy to follow input instructions most of the time.
What's not so great: Software could still be made simpler to understand and complete.

troubles with the installation

The first time I tried to load the program this year it hung on the updates and corrupted the install. My spouse had to delete the program, and then reload it. Once it loaded properly, it ran fine.

WHY PAY A PREPARER THOUSANDS?????

I have been using TurboTax for 20+ years. It is the most straight forward way to prepare your returns. If you are confused about a topic, there is excellent help. However, if you know what you are doing, it is extremely fast, complete, and accurate.
What's great about it: Straight forward. Prior year data to compare is great.
What's not so great: There really are no cons if you are follow the process
