I have used Turbo Tax for many years. Although I wouldn't mind paying an accountant, I enjoy doing my taxes because it helps me to keep up with the tax law regarding income taxes. I believe Turbo Tax is easy to use and strives to get better every year. I really like the way it remembers my information from year to year.

Frustration trying to prepare two different trust tax returns. The program thinks that a person must only have one trust. Why can I do only on trust with this program, Turbo Tax for Business

Still cant file NY State S-Corp tax. Now State is sending me Estimated tax and penalties. There is no reason the software should be looking for the >net validation tool and if it can find it it stops working. It should either install it or search the system for it. I payed a lot of money for the BIZ version and the S-Corp now I will be paying penalties for the software not working properly.
What's great about it: esay to use when it works
What's not so great: S-Corp does not install, it is looking for .net 4.0 vaerification tool

I just don't understand why Turbo Tax Business is only available in Windows format. Time to program an Mac format.

What's great about it: Good exmples and explainations.
What's not so great: Need an apple format for Business
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I've been using Turbo Tax for the past few years. I have an S Corp and a PC plus I do my personal taxes with Turbo Tax as well. I think it's a great value. No waiting for my tax professional to get thru his piles and piles of files.
What's great about it: It made it so easy!!
What's not so great: no downsides!

- One drawback I saw was that it doesn't save info entered for employees on their W2 forms. It is a one time deal.

1st time user. So relieved it worked.

Turbo Tax's Jeanne Dolan saved me with her diligent tech support. TT wouldn't accept my partnership % & data entries Several hours were spent to correct these issues. Then, when finished with clean reviews, TT sent error messages when I tried to e-file the returns. With Jeanne's help we got through this issue too and my returns were finally e-filed successfully. Yeah! Hoping next year will be much easier because of the file transfer feature.
What's great about it: Saved a bunch of CPA fees.
What's not so great: Took a long time, multiple TT tech glitches.
