Love it!

We love the Roku stick. It runs through batteries often, but it was free from Sling with a 3 month sign-up so we can't complain! It is very easy to use.

It works better and faster than my smart tv

I was tired of paying too much for satellite when I didn't watch but only a handful of channels. I actually watch more TV now that I have the Roku. I even have it hooked up to my smart TV because it has a lot more apps.

Decent Product

I've had this for 2 months now. We use it mainly for Sling Tv. Not sure if it's the stick or slings service, but for shows that have a high viewing time, the buffering is very slow. Haven't had any issues with Hulu or with Vudu.
I would recommend this to a friend!

OK at Best

When it worked it was OK. It takes forever to boot up and then interface was not all that intuitive.
Then after <1 yr the stick started constantly re-booting and became unusable. Sorry Roku, you lost a customer at this point.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I originally reviewed the 1st ROKU stick that I purchased and was sent back, I said in that review that I was disappointed with the stick which I was because of streaming or connection issues, to make a long story short the stick was replaced by Roku within 1 week, which is the first plus, this is my second day of using the replacement stick and I absolutely love it! I am not having any issues I am getting a continuous stream of programs with out any interruptions. Switching to RoKu was the best decision I made, not to mention the money saved now that the cable cord is cut, and there is so much selection! I can watch what I choose to watch and not what Cable tell me to watch!!! I am so pleased with the Streaming Stick I upgraded and ordered the ROKU 2! for another tv in the home.

Great for Watching Almost Any Show on TV

I love this little thing. It's the best because I can stream so much more than I could with other devices! Also, thanks to the Roku Streaming Stick I never run out of things to watch, and I also don't have to even bother with cable TV anymore. The only problem is slight glitches within individuals apps, but overall, if the system glitches it catches itself and restarts and then runs perfectly. I love this product and would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a device to stream TV, music and movies.

This little stick packs a big punch

I bought the Roku stick a month ago and have been pleased with the robust content provided. You cannot find more programming with any other streaming device. While I have read reviews of a slow speed because of the slower processor in the stick compared to the Roku 3 box, I have not found this to be the case.
My only criticism is the constant freezing of the remote. While removing the 2 AA batteries and reinserting them solves the problem, it is quite annoying and should be addressed by Roku's technical support dep't.

I bought the streaming stick about 4 months ago and it was great. So I went and bought another for my bed room. This streaming stick was working ok for 2 days and I haven't been able to use it since.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
