Trouble with stick and remote

I bought this t I use in a smart tv, well it worked for about an hour. Then it would not even log in or some on . I tried to reset it and if still would not work. I had to take it back . Now I have a 1st gen Rioku 1 and it works great.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have boycotted cable and satellite tv for years. With Roku and Sling I can watch the shows I'm interested in without paying for the 100 stations I could care less about it.

I am very pleased with the Roku stick .Between that and my antenna I've been able to discontinue cable altogether . The only issue I've had is sometimes it doesn't immediately come up and I have to turn the tv off and on again , but that may be the internet connection .
