Remote control problematic!

Remote control drains battery like mad. You have to change the batteries everyday so we just use the app now. Good updates/ links on available sights, though.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cheaper than cable

Not a bad alternative to cable but this device has a tendency to lock up and stop working about once a week. The fix is to unplug it and allow it to reboot, a bit of a pain but other than that, I like it

We bought the Roku stick so that we could watch live sports. It works great, most of the time. However, the most important games for us, our alma mater, have both times had service that cuts out. It's been very frustrating.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

great device but remote needs work

love the size and features but the remote kinda sucks. I'm on my second remote in only a few months and this one craps out on me also, plus it eats batteries.
Please work on this and send me the updated version (before this one completely goes).
Oh and you could work on the price too.. little steep there guys

Roku never ceases to amaze me.
My only *minor* complaint is that the stick didn't fit within the input panel on the backs of my TVs, which made it necessary to purchase a 270° HDMI right-angle adapter for one and an HDMI extension cable for the other. I wish one of these had been included in the box.

The stick is not the one to get

I have two older units that work great. I love them. The stick has issues with the remote needing to be reset and the Unit freezes up. I will stay with using the other units.
