I bought the Roku a month ago and enjoy the fact I can pay for what channels I want instead of a large package of channels I never watch.

Great way to get rid of cable

I bought this because I wanted to get rid of high cable cost. It's been great, just wish I would of did this awhile ago.

Does what it's meant to

We bought Roku so we could watch netflix. I gave it 3 stars because we have to constantly reset the stick. It only works when it wants to and has a lag time when using the remote and play time. But overall it's decent, I just wish we didn't have to wait for the remote to work and the constant resets.

I bought this a month ago and its ok. It lags alot when im browsing for a movie. The boxes are way better. But it still has alot of stuff to choose from but i would recommend getting the roku 2 or 3 instead.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this a few months ago and am enjoying it. I have a TV with a MHL input. I am using that for my HDMI stick. I use the powered usb input on my tv to power it. I found a few mhl versions on ebay but chose not go that way because of flexibility. I wish you come up with a version that could use either mhl power or usb power when needed. I have a roku 2 also which I use on a different tv. Thanks for two excellent products
