Every Roku sold strikes at the heart of "overpriced satellite or cable TV". I do wish Roku would offer TV Packages without the individual having to have an active Cable or Satellite TV account.

I bought this product and i regret it.. The remote did not work i thought it might b the batteries so i replaced the batteries but it still didn't work i finally had to download the app which took up memory on my phone :(

Doesn't work

I bought this Roku stick, and it is defective. The remote will randomly stop working. I'll be returning this, and hopefully the next one works. I'll update my review if I'm satisfied.

Works after effort.

Bought this to replace an older Roku 3. Bad plan. Had a difficult time in getting it to authenticate to our Wi-Fi because we use a long and complex key. Strong signal, but kept dropping off of the Wi-Fi when we used the microwave. Wi-Fi is line-of-site in the same room that we tried to use this Stick. Went back to Roku 3 with it's wired Ethernet and moved the Roku Streaming Stick to the spare bedroom. This Roku Streaming Stick is not the right choice for our home.
