Functional but slow; needs resets on MNF

Does the job. Selecting a 'channel is slow. Using it with Sling for Monday Night Football and some other channels on Sling is frustrating. The thing seems to require a reset after commercials on ESPN. I don't like doing this. Probably better off just running Sling off of a laptop and connect it to the TV. Also the unit gets hot and probably uses up power even when the tv is off (not sure).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So many apps, but remote stinks

Decided to give the Roku Stick a chance since it was s cheaper option than AppleTV, and while Roku offers so many channels, they load a little slow. The worst part is the remote. It eats batteries. And they're Energizer, not some cheap store brand.

The product is very nice. The remote control is a big differential with other competitors. Hard to configure, but easy to use. I think it should come with earphones and game support.

Take TV anywhere

i bought this Roku stick a few months back. i took it on vacation just in case. the local cable company didnt have all the channels i wanted so i was able to hook this up, enter the wifi password and i was off to watching whatever i wanted!
