I acquired 2 Roku sticks and subscribed to SlingTV last September and have not regretted getting rid of cable TV.

The response is delayed compare to Roku 3

I have Roku 3 and stick. The response in Roku stick is poor compared to 3. And the remote which I got with new stick is only working intermittently.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Picture

We bought the Roku for ESPN3 and enjoyed watching sports on it. We have also watched several TV shows. The picture on screen is amazing!

Roku Stick

Menu speed and loading time is pretty good. Remote has drained 3 sets of batteries in less than a month. There seems to be a glitch when exiting Sling TV and then starting Netflix the stick reboots.

Netflix users take note

I mainly use the new Roku Stick for Netflix, and comparing it to my old Roku, this is an unfortunate step down, but it may have more to do with the Stick accessing a later version of Netflix than my old Roku. Searching is more difficult, the buttons don't work intuitively, and the movies no longer play through the credits. Other than that though, excellent.
