I have had a Roku 2 for a few years now and I absolutely love it. I bought my Roku stick about a month ago for my second television and its even better than my Roku 2!

Streams just as well as Roku 3

I was a little concerned about the Roku Stick not being powerful enough compared to its big brother (Roku 3). But it works perfectly for streaming Netflix and several other channels that we use regularly for our children. We don't miss the extra features of the Roku 3 (which we have connected to a different TV in our house). The only noticeable differences between the Stick and Roku 3 are the less-beefy remote (which is still MORE than adequate) and the navigation through menus is a bit more laggy. But these are admittedly picky concerns that in no way impact the quality of the streaming.
I highly recommend the Roku Stick to anyone who is interested primarily in streaming.

I love my roku....I cant remember the last time I just watched tv or cable. Roku allows you to watch what you want when you want. Who could ask for more?!

I purchased this a little while ago and I'm not very impressed. Slow remote response and I'm constantly having to pop out a battery to reset the remote. The Wi-Fi coverage in our apartment is great from corner to corner, but somehow this stick thinks differently; constantly demoting the signal to SD or stopping playback altogether. Meanwhile, my tablet is in the other room and even further from the wireless modem and plays perfect HD signal with Vudu, Netflix, Hulu with no problem at all.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Simple, just plug it into the HDMI port and your off and running.
Roku needs to identify what options are totally free so I can take full advantage of Roku options....
