Better Than I Expected

I have a Roku 3 player and was looking for something similar for my bedroom. After reading the reviews for the Roku streaming stick I was a bit apprehensive, about the speed and how long it takes to load an App. So I went out and got one, boy was I surprised! It is only about 30 seconds slower to load Apps than my Roku 3.
I am very pleased with the performance. However it does help when having a high speed Internet provider.

I bought the roku to test it out since I already have other internet streamers. I am so unhappy with my Roku purchase. My roku is constantly giving me error messages and I know its not my internet because all my other streamers work perfectly and when I check the network connections on the Roku they are all fine .
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I first bought a Roku 3 and love it very much. Then I bought a Roku stick for my other TV. The Stick is a lot slower loading and and runs slower. It works best if your wireless router is close and fast. A good product but not nearly as good as the Roku 3. I love the Roku 3 remote headphone jack for listening to shows while my wife is sleeping. I wish all Roku products had this feature, but it is only available on the Roku 3 not on the Roku 2 or the stick. All in all the Roku stick is a good less expensive streaming option.

We have both the stick and the Roku 3. Love the 3, and will be buying one to replace the stick, which makes us nervous to keep plugged in. When it overheats, it works only intermittently.

My wife and I bought this to use on our extra tv but we ended up using it all over the place. We take it when we travel, outside, in the camper etc.. It is small and easy to take with you and it works great.

We love Roku! We have one in our living room and bought the stick for our bedroom. We had a little problem getting them to sync. Someone under 50 would not have a problem.
