Didn't work for me...

I have friends that have the Roku and they work great. I could not get mine to work well. My house is concrete block with stucco inside and out and my router is in another room. It's probably a wifi problem. So I really can't fault Roku. I'm just saying I couldn't get it to work.
I would recommend this to a friend!

weak remote

I bought the Roku Streaming Stick to replace the costly cable and satellite options for my older mother-in-law. The remote would not stay connected to the stick. Constantly had to reset the batteries. After weeks of chatting with customer service they finally agreed to replace the remote. the new remote has worked very well. It has taken my mother-in-law a couple months to get used the technology. She still complains about not being able to watch certain "channels".
I have found this device is not for the less patient and non technical person. Most of the good services are an additional pay option. I am still not paying as much as I was.

My Roku was a gift from my son and is a lifesaver. I am disbled and not able to use my hands much this year, and will be unable to use them less as time goes on. This is a wonderful way for me to not only be entertained, but also to learn all about nature, crafts, history and more without even leaving my chair! Even better than TV schedules since I can watch what I want when I want it! I really love it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It took me a long time to make my decision to buy Roku. I'm so happy that I did it lets me view Roku instead of having the subscription of a Cable company. I'm so happy that I bought Roku, satisfied beyond the services that I receive. Thank You, Roku !!

I have owned my ROKU for over a month now. It lets me watch what I want, when I want to without having to record. I can also take it on the road with me!

wish we had installed sooner. Is a good product for beginners to use. The handset is a bit basic, but gets the job done if you are persistent.
