Good Content, bad hardware

After getting the second unit (first one was defective) the installation was easy but not well documented.
During use, the remote unit continually (every 0.5-2 min when surfing for a show) loses contact with the main unit and requires removal of the battery. Once re-installed, it again functions as listed. Annoying. This issue would prevent me from recommending this product. Seems to be getting worse with use.
Offerings are in line with other services.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love my Roku!

I have had the Roku for a few months and I love it, my friends' have one, so I already knew what to expect. Makes watching Netflix and Hulu plus so much easier then on a computer. And I needed something my mom could use to watch shows. She is elderly and doesn't like complicated things. She was able to figure out the Roku very quickly.

great, got t with sling tv

we were missing sports and this was just the "ticket" for sling tv and a little sports viewing back in our lives. If you are not into sports there are hundreds of other channels. this is a great way to cut the cable and still watch awesome tv.
