Control Remote does not work sometimes

This is the 2nd Roku Stick I bought. I returned it and exchanged it for another one. It seems the control remote is not that great. It does not work sometimes even when you try different brand new batteries and yu have to literally point it to the TV. I might need soem improvements because this is a big issue.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I stay in Hotels a lot and sometimes there are not many channels on the service....I can watch and keep up with all my shows.

We have 3 other roku's & the stick seemed great for my kitchen Tv.easy to install & use! I like the remote better than the older ones we have! All around a great product

I picked up a subscription to Curiosity Stream and my previous box would not play it. Roku has the app built in!

When I added an extendable wall mounted TV to our tiny attic bedroom Roku was a must but, being mounted in the middle of a gambrel wall, a standard size Roku was simply not an option. I took a chance on the "Stick" and never looked back. No mounting issues nor extra wires to deal with. Plugged it into the HDMI port, plugged in the USB for power & done. 1-1/2 years later we have still had no issues & it works just as good as our Roku 3's ! I Love it and recommend it to anyone who has a similar need, wants to test the waters or simply cant afford a full size version !
