I'm not a full cord cutter, I still have cable in my living room. I wanted something more than local channels for my bedroom and bought the roku. It's amazing, so many channels to choose from! Also, in addition to Netflix, I can access HBO, starz and showtime channels with the subscription paid for through my cable provider. love the roku!!! My only issue is the remote - it doesn't work so I've been using an app on my phone.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Much better than the chrome stick! I use the phone app to control it as the remote that came with the stick uses batteries way too fast!

The remote is good enough for whats its for I guess but when you are in bed in a darkened room and you have to use the light on your iPhone to see the dials on the remote its makes for less than customer friendly experience.

We love our ROKU stick

I have bought 3 ROKU sticks and 2 ROKU 3's. I love how easy it is to set up and the large channel selection. My only complaint is consistently every ROKU remote either stops working or works inconsistently. I have found the ROKU remote apps tend to work much better.
