Roku stick

Both batteries of my first Roku (from Sam's) were dead and then I finally decided it must have had a short because it ate up batteries (brand new out of the case) like crazy. Sometimes it would work and other times it just didn't work. I returned that one to Sam's, got one from Best By on line, no problems. I mainly got it for Amazon Prime which I'd just purchased. I enjoy watching the free movies. I really haven't tried many other things it has.

I bought our Roku about a month ago and couldn't be happier with the purchase price, the ease of setting it up and the variety of programming available at an affordable price. I REALLY want to purchase another to completely replace our DirecTV service, but I haven't been able to convince my husband of that yet. With a Roku, I see no reason to pay for satellite service.
I would recommend this to a friend!

most bang for your buck streaming device

This is my second unit. My first one help sell my house and I left it with the new owners.
I haven't had cable since getting my first unit a couple of years ago. Count up the savings.

Why Pay For Dish?

I had an older Roku and when I had surgery my son bought me the stick for my bedroom. I have watched so many different kind of shows, documentaries and movies. I changed my old one out in the living room and now they both are on the same track. I don't know why anyone would get cable or a dish!!!

I bought it over a month ago and was pleased with it at first. I didn't realize how much free tv there was available. Then slow my Roku starts not responding to the remote! So I downloaded a remote to my phone that worked at first! Now if I use the remote on my phone all the buttons do the same thing except the home button. So now I use my phone for the home button and the remote for other things.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It keeps loosing the signal and I need to keep having to reset the channel to get the program back. The worst for this is ESPN
