Interruption of Service

I purchased the ROKU a couple weeks ago and have been experiencing interruption of service while watching TV. I thought initially it was the internet service but found that not to be the case. The TV screen just goes black and I have to return to the menu options and restart the program I was watching. Pretty annoying.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love that it's portable!

We bought the bo and received the stick for signing up for a service. We love that it's so easy to move and use wherever we are at in the house.

ROKU - A great alternative to cable TV

ROKU is a very nice alternative to cable, in particular for the price. I hope that in the future more stations such as major network stations be added.

Great Potential

I love my roku stick. I have two, one for my bedroom and one for my greatroom and they are WORLDS better than cable. There are some things that use improvement, for example, the remote is black with purple buttons which is a little flashy. Additionally there are 4 preset buttons for Netflix and a few other streaming "devices" that I don't use. I think the remote would look better without them there but thats just a minor detail. Sometimes I have problems connecting to difference "apps" but I don't know if thats the roku or the quality of my internet. Overall this product is amazing and I have recomended it to many friends who have gone on to purchase and love as well!

Remote is no good

The remote that came with my Roku Streaming Stick does not work. If it wasn't for the apps downloaded on my son's smart phone and my wife's Kindle, we would not be able to navigate Roku. In the rare times that the remote does work it frequently freezes up.
