Alternative to cable tv

I originally bought one about a year ago as I did not have cable on one of my tv's. I used this as an alternative to cable so that I wouldn't just be watching regular tv (make sure you have wifi). Not many channels on the roku stick but that doesn't bother me because I have a Netflix and Hulu plus subscription. You can get other cable channels on the roku stuck but not a lot. If you want more channels just pay more for a different roku streaming device. Loved it so much that I bought another one for another one of my tv's. Just buy one, and I promise that you won't be disappointed!

I have had this for a couple of months. It was easy to set up and easy to use. Even my wife can use it. It is much better than trying to stream Netflix thru my DVD player.

I love my roku stick. I received it as a gift for Christmas last year and have only had to replace the batteries once so far.

I would'nt know, I used it one day, then my mom took it and I haven't been able to use it again...she loves it. I guess I'm going to have to buy another one.

Sleek capsule to fit to my TV

Bought this a couple of months back. Works great. The only issue is with regards to the support for Windows 10 to help connect my laptop to TV through the Roku player. Good one to have supplementing your cable

just like all other streaming devices it has limitations, too. No locals or dvr function, no real "tv" guide, and lacks many channels you still get on cable or satellite.
