Remote is always disconnecting

The stick's great and simple but the reason why I gave it a low star is the remote is constantly being disconnected from the wifi and will not work. I have to always hit the reset button on the remote and the device. And now it's gotten to the point where it won't reset at all. Getting ready to try and exchange it for a new one. Maybe that will solve the problem.

I like the Roku stick. Just have slot for problems with Hulu freezing up during movies. Other than that I like my Roku stick

Great device but can be improved more

I am very happy with my roku stick. I mostly watch Netflix, hulu, etc. but i am also a great fan of plex and it works great on roku. Also I love that all the apps know that there is a roku stick in my network when i use the android app and allow me to quickly start the app and start playing the content i want, including youtube.
The only flaw I found was with the remote. Somehow it either turns itself off or looses its sync with the player, and i have to reset by pulling the battery out before it can start working. And the improvement i wish goes into the next version is to be able to reconfigure those quick launch buttons. I only find one useful of them, and it would have been great to change other to say plex, or youtube.

My remote stops working about every other time I use it. I have to take the batteries out, then replace them for it to start working again. (The batteries are not old) Also the USB or (Stick) runs very hot. I read somewhere that the stick turns off when you turn the TV off. (Mine does not do that) When I turn my TV on the ROKU will still be playing. As far as streaming shows... It works great!

We bought this a month ago because our chromecast hadn't been working for over a year. It works great and has better functionality
