Roku stick

I put my account on a new pc and keep getting emails to review this product. Apparently discarding the email is not enough. So I guess I have to reply or I will just keep getting more emails from Roku regarding their product. It's okay not as big a selection as I thought there would be so there you have it.

I bought the roku about 2 months ago. We love it, only when the remote works. About 75% of the time I stuck trying to flip the batteries or clicking the home button over and over again until I give up and put on a movie. If our remotes worked, I'd give it 5 stars.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy to install

We are happy with our decision to quit Direct TV. We love how easy the Roku is to install. Our only frustration is that once in a while it freezes up and won't respond. We have to unplug the stick and plug it back in. It also uses up batteries pretty quickly.

Nice product

I've had my ROKU stick for about six months now and I love it, however, my roku remote that came with sometimes freezes up and do not work. That's not a major issue due to the Roku app however when I'm using my phone and someone else is watching TV it would be nice for that part of the stick to be stable.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Quite compact!

I bought the ROKU stick about a month ago and am very happy with it. It is compact and attaches to the back of my TV, hidden from view. The only think I have problems with is the remote, but downloaded the ROKU app and use my phone as the remote when the actual remote doesn't work; a minor annoying thing. Otherwise, I love my ROKU stick!

LOVE the Roku Streaming Stick

I previously had a Roku streamer which I love, its small and convenient. Ive recently upgraded to the streaming stick, and it is great! not only do I not have to point the remote at the device as it works from anywhere in the room, but everything that streams is so updated! I love it! I recommend Roku to my friends and family.

Makes streaming much easier, but also a hassle

I bought this about two months ago, I love having easy access to watching Netflix and streaming music. I often find myself having to reset the stick or waiting for long amounts of time for my content to buffer and load.
My main peeve is when searching and clicking the arrow buttons, sometimes it seems to go into a scan mode rapidly scanning through choices. I have to make sure to press the arrows slowly or it will just take off scrolling away.
I love my streaming stick because I can watch Netflix on my tv, I do recommend this to many people... it's just a little finicky.
